AUDIT MANAGER POSITION OPENING

JOB SUMMARY: Develops, plans and manages audit engagements. Manages fieldwork of audit assignments. Uses AICPA audit standards and company polices to complete projects and solve problems. 

 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans, determines, and coordinates resources needed to complete an engagement
Directs meetings with higher-level officials and clients
Makes staff assignments and monitors performance of subordinates
Directs, evaluates and reviews data collection efforts 
Directs and reviews written material of subordinates
Reviews analysis for financial statements and audit reports
Ensures that financial statements and audit reports are accurate, complete, and in accordance with applicable standards, Oversees the consolidation of financial statements and audit report
Reviews data connected with engagement
Performs engagement fieldwork
Ensures reports are accurately compiled and completed in a timely manner, accounting data is pertinent to project and inconsistencies are detected, corrected and/or reported
Gathers facts, develops schedules, and organizes reports for clear presentations
Identifies reportable issues and coordinates meetings with higher level officials when necessary
Prepares thorough, accurate financial statements and audit reports
Provides on the job training to subordinate staff, and Performs other duties as assigned by the partner

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires (1) MBA or Advanced degree in Accounting and two years of relevant accounting experience or (2) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting followed by at least five years of progressive accounting experience. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and audit standards set fort by the AICPA and company policy is also required.
